midnight swim

at first i was a little worryed about going out for a swim at midnight. not due to the fact that im not a good swimmer or anything like that. it was that i was going to be gone till about 2am and be at work for 7, with a 6am wake up. but thank god for coffee, 2 XL coffees and one L and i was fine for the day. the large was quite the surprise because i dont normally get it and the old dutch guy just brought it.

i made a cd for the drive there just random stuff put together, i hope everyone liked it. swimming or me walking into the water and dipping in once and walking back after allittle bit was fun. the whole camp setting was great. i miss camp. they are charging too much at the place (arrow lake) i think its 8.10 a day for hydro where we go go my dad wants to get rid of it. too bad the water was too cold for my liking and i was shivering a lot. when laura was asked if i had gone under the water i had a trainspotting moment. when reten is asked if the herion is good and he replys its good really good, i yelled out its cold really cold..dont think anyone caught onto that one or the fact that i tried to do that scottish accent.

playing pool with sarah was fun ( note to self i say fun too much). i have way more experience in pool sarah, my misspent youth. i never was a part of the in group so i had to do something with my time so i took up pool. its not that expensive and indoors also. who would have thought math(i hate math) would play a part in my life looking at all the angles and to see if i can make it or not. things to know about pool

1) always look for the next shot...maybe 2-4 shots ahead
2) although shooting harder sound and looks better its harder to get shape and set things up for the next shot that you want
3) if you have ball in hand always look lower to the table and see if the ball goes past, you would be surprised how things
look if you just look a little lower
4) dont be afraid to ask advice on what to shoot next or what would the other person do,
5) know what shots you can do and what is out of your reach, dont be afraid to use the grannyhelper/rake if you cant reach.
